Jamie Moyle set quick time of the night with a 15.799. He was followed by Randy Anderson, Duane Bonini Jr., Don Droud Jr., Jeff Mitrisin, and Brent Antill. John Lambertz broke something in the rear end during hot laps and could not get a lap in. Jon Agan also struggled and couldn't a lap in. A hard, brief rain shower hit the track at around 4:30 making the track extremely greasy for most of the night.

360s

Passing points are used to lock in 16 drivers from the heats.

Heat 1) (started) 1. Dwight Snodgrass 2 (2) 2. Brad Pinkerton 99X (6) 3. Johnny Anderson 7A (1) 4. Brett Mather 12 (5) 5. Ryan Anderson 71R (4) 6. Terry Alexander 77 (7) 7. Dave Van Heukelom 4 (9) 8. Stacy Alexander 126 (3) 9. Steve Wares 10 (10) 10. Terry Thorson 99 (8)

Pinkerton provided the action in this one moving up on a track that was VERY narrow. After the first couple laps it was follow the leader.

Heat 2) (started) 1. David Hesmer 1 (1) 2. Bobby Mincer 15 (2) 3. Jesse Gianetto D1 (3) 4. Curtis Thorson 91 (4) 5. Tim St Arnold 7s (5) 6. Josh Higday 24 (6) 7. Doran Doty 48 (8) 8. Jerry Crabb 12X (7) 9. Gereld Cressman 56c (9)

Very little passing as you can see in this one. Hesmer ran away and hid.

Heat 3) (started) 1. Tony Norem B1st (1) 2. Mark Wilson 00 (2) 3. Rodney Turner 69 (4) 4. Billy Bell 55 (6) 5. Mike Houseman Y5 (8) 6. Rob Edwards 22 (3) 7. Tim Deaver 34 (5) 8. Kevin Tanner G2 (7) 9. Adam Mason 49M (9) 10. Mark Detrick 12K (10)

Norem took this one by quite a bit. Bell and Houseman managed to move up a little bit. The track was still quite narrow.

Heat 4) (started) 1. John Kearney 86 (1) 2. Larry Ball Jr 5J (4) 3. Ed Ergenbright 21 (3) 4. Joe Beaver 53 (5) 5. Brett Golik 5G (6) 6. Colin Northway 60 (8) 7. Franky Lee 6X (7) 8. Jeff Lowery 45 (9) 9. Robert Bell 71 (2) 10. Gary Moyer 8M (10)

Kearney jumped into the lead and led this one the whole way. Larry Ball Jr. did a pretty good job of getting into 2nd. The track was getting a little wider... finally.

C-Main) 1. Crabb (1) 2. Tanner (2) / 3. Cressman (4) 4. Wares (3) 5. Thorson (7) 6. A. Mason (5) 7. R. Bell (6) 8. Detrick (8)

Cressman just was short of transferring to the B. This was the end of a tough night for last week's feature winner Terry Thorson.

B-Main) 1. St Arnold (4) 2. C. Thorson (1) 3. Golik (2) 4. Northway (5) / 5. Doty (8) 6. Higday (7) 7. R. Anderson (3) 8. Lowery (14) 9. T. Alexander (6) 10. Lee (12)

This was a pretty good race up front. St Arnold took the lead with one lap to go. Colin Northway got the final transfer on lap 4 and held off the challenges of Doty and Higday to make it in the show.

A-Main) 1. Kearney (8) 2. Gianetto (2) 3. Hesmer (10) 4. Mincer (6) 5. Norem (9) 6. Snodgrass (11) 7. Ball Jr. (7) 8. Golik (19)

This was a rough and tumble race that saw 4 red flags. St Arnold hit the wall in turn one at the start and took a hard tumble. He walked away. Pinkerton jumped the cushion in between 3 and 4 and cartwheeled his car. He was unhurt as well. Another complete restart ensued. With one lap in the books, Ed Erganbright spun exiting turn 2, Colin Northway had nowhere to go and drilled him sending both cars flipping. It was kinda nasty looking, but both drivers walked away. Gianetto took the early lead and looked tough when Billy Bell jumped the cushion in two and flipped it over. He too walked away. By this time Kearney was on Gianettos bumper for the restart and got by him. Gianetto was still fast though and held off Hesmer and the gang. I think it's only a matter of time before "the bulldog" gets his first win.

410s

The invert was 6 in the heats, and the top 4 advanced to the A

Heat 1) (started) 1. Blake Feese 1F (2) 2. Steve Genneton 86 (1) 3. Randy Hannagan 1X (4) 4. Don Droud Jr. 1M (5)5. Chris Walraven 56 (3) 6. Travis Cram 10 (8) 7. Jamie Moyle 1 (6) 8. John Sernett 91 (7) 9. Calvin Landis 70 (9) 10. John Hall 7H (10)

Blake Feese led this the whole way with Genneton in tow. Droud robbed the final transfer away from Walraven with one lap remaining.

Heat 2)(started) 1. Terry McCarl 55 (1) 2. Randy Anderson 47 (6) 3. Matt Wasmund 4W (2) 4. Randy Martin 7 (4) / 5. Brent Antill 12 (3) 6. Manny Rockhold 02 (8) 7. Ryan Flynn F1 (5) 8. Gereld Cressman 56C (7) 9. Bill McCroskey 24 (9) 10. Jon Agan 20 (10)

McCroskey needed a second push as he stalled on the track moving everybody up -- giving McCarl the pole. Flynn spun in turn 2 at the start of this one and collected Rockhold and Agan. Flynn restarted at the tail. Rockhold put a new leftfront tire on and restarted at the tail, while Agan was done. McCarl checked out while Anderson motored his way to a transfer position in awesome fashion. McCarl set a new 8 lap track record previously held by Mark Kinser. Randy Martin was in the 7 car that Billy Engelhart has driven previously. He is going to see what happens and possibly drive it in the Nationals in two weeks.

Heat 3) (started) 1. Matt Moro 2M (2) 2. Micah Schlieman R19 (1) 3. Larry Pinegar 11L (3) 4. Jon Vandenberg 10V (4) 5. Christy Passmore 1A (5) 6. John Lambertz (10) 7. Duane Bonini Jr. 72 (6) 8. Bob Weuve (7) 9. Lynton Jeffrey 7o (8) 10. Clyde Nagel 23 (9)

Bob Weuve got WAY out of shape at the start of this one but managed to continue.... for a lap. Matt Moro raced Schlieman side by side the whole half mile distance edging him before Weuve stopped bringing out the yellow. Moro set sale on the restart and led the whole way. Jon Vandenberg just nipped Passmore at the line in a great race for the final transfer.

Heat 4) (started) 1. Mike Reinke 02X (1) 2. Kevin Whitworth 5KW (2) 3. Dennis Moore Jr. 71 (4) 4. Jeff Mitrisin 5J (4) 5. Ricky Logan 4 (5) 6. Mark Toews 5T (7) 7. Nick Bellino 41B (8) 8. Dave Westercamp 7B (9) 9. Kerry Madsen 1S (3)

At the start in turn 1 Madsen got over a wheel and began barrel rolling towards the fence. Some way, some how, Mitrisin squeaked through a hole and avoided the incident.... barely!! Madsen walked away. On lap 4 Mitrisin worked his way into the final transfer. With one to go Westercamp pulled in and Bellino pulled in with a fried motor. Reinke led the distance.

B Main) 1. Moyle (1) 2. Antill (3) 3. Walraven (6) 4. Passmore (4) 5. Cram (11) 6. Sernett (7) 7. Weuve (9) 8. Rockhold (14) 9. Toews (12)

I thought this was the best race all night. At one point with only a couple of laps to go the top 4 were so close you could throw a blanket over them. Moyle did a heck of a job holding off a charging Antill. Walraven was working good as well challenging Antill a few times.

A Main) 1. Moro (1) 2. Pinegar (4) 3. Hannagan (9) 4. Moore Jr. (6) 5. McCarl (5) 6. Feese (3) 7. Anderson (12) 8. Mitrisin (11) 9. Walraven (19) 10. Gennetton (14)

Matt Moro jumped out to the early lead with Moore Jr. behind him a ways. On lap 5 Droud had driveline/rear end troubles and left on the hook. That put Moore on Moro's tail for the restart. Moore dived under him in turn one but didn't have enough and Moro cruised away on the cushion. Hannagan slowly, patiently worked his way to the front running the very bottom of the track. Pinegar held him off in lapped traffic, but neither of them could catch Moro, as he picked up his first career 410 win at Knoxville.
