Beaver led the distance on a heavy and narrow surface. Long started deep in the pack and found his way by Maier with two to go for fifth. On the white flag lap he tried to dive under Jamison for fourth to no avail. The move sidelined both for the night, with Jamison taking a tumble upside down. He was uninjured. The elimination of the two cars gave Maier enough points to make the A.

Heat two (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Brett Mather 54 KNOX (2*) 2. Dave Glennon 5 WISSOTA (1*) 3. Roger Rager 6R WISSOTA (5*) 4. Tony Bruce Jr. 18 ASCS-S (6) 5. Rick Ideus 5B EAGLE (7) 6. Dave Becker 7B WISSOTA (4)

Mather led flag to flag in the ten lapper. Becker went pitside on lap five while running a strong third. Rager moved up nicely, while Bruce managed to hold off Ideus in a good battle for fourth.

Heat three (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Roger Crockett 11 NST (1*) 2. Cody Geldart 6G SOS (3*) 3. Zach Chappell 50z ASCS (6*) 4. Randy Martin 14 WOW (9) 5. Tracy Nichols 19 WOW (5) 6. Kulhanek was DQed for not staging in time. Crocket led the distance while Martin was the man on the move. Starting towards the rear he charged to fourth, but it still was not good enough to make the A.

Heat four (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Eric Jobe 23 KNOX (1*) 2. Mike Trent 23x KNOX (3*) 3. Eric Mason B29 KNOX (2) 4. Travis Rilat 29 ASCS (8*) 5. Jake Peters 57x KNOX (7) 6. Jobe led the distance. Trent and Mason exchanged slide jobs before Trent took the spot for good on the second go-around. Rilat moved up nicely to garner a transfer and came just short of getting by Mason for third at the line. Peters pass for fifth came on the last lap.

Heat five (started, *qualfied for feature): 1. Manny Rockhold 50 SIA (2*) 2. Terry Hinck 21H WOW (3*) 3. Nick Mulheim 38m SOD (1) 4. Stacey Alexander 126 KNOX (8*) 5. Gary Wright 9 ASCS (11) 6. Rockhold checked out from the field immediately and never looked back in the non-stop event. Hinck and Mulheim battled throughout for second with Hinck barely holding on at the line. Wright came just short of fourth and a transfer to the A after a fine charge from the tail.

Heat six (started, *qualified for feature): 1. Dave Hesmer 1 KNOX (1*) 2. Darren Stewart 91x ASCS (3*) 3. Larry Ball Jr. 5J SIA (6*) 4. Jeff Lowery 45 EAGLE (2) 5. Jesse Giannetto D1 SIA (11) 6. Hesmer led a stout field for the duration. Giannetto made a nice charge and came up short on a bid for fourth at the line.

B main one (started): 1. Ideus (3) 2. Daggett (10) / 3. Golik (7) 4. Bruce (2) 5. Schulz (6) 6. Dietz (12) 7. Steward (1) 8. Sutton (9) 9. Peebles (4) 10. Sather (11) 11. Crank (8) 12. Schneiderman (14) 13. Wright (15) 14. Hetrick (13) 15. Brahmer (5) DNS - Jamison, Long, Becker

Schneiderman spun on the initial start. Bruce shot out to the early lead in the 15 lapper before Brahmer lost his driveline and came to a rest on the backstretch on lap three. He was taken to the hospital for observation. The restart saw Bruce leading Schulz, Ideus, Steward and Peebles back to green. Ideus had been good late in races all weekend and took the lead from bruce on lap 11. Daggett had used the high side to move into third before Schneiderman suffered a flat right front tire on lap 13, bunching the field again. Daggett used the opportunity to move by Bruce for the final transfer into the A.

B main two (started): 1. Martin (1) 2. Peters (3) / 3. Kearney (13) 4. Nichols (4) 5. Walsh (10) 6. Brey (9) 7. Branchcomb (15) 8. Kulhanek (16) 9. Leiber (11) 10. McClelland (7) 11. Braughman (14) 12. Harms (12) 13. Mason (2) 14. Mincer (6) 15. Hawks (8) 16. Williamson (5)

Martin jumped out to a big advantage with Peters in tow. The race was slowed by a caution for debris on lap three. Williamson exited at this time while running fifth. Three more circuits passed before Mason slowed while running third and he coasted low in turn three, swerving in front of a charging Mincer. Mincer had nowhere to go and flipped. Both were unhurt. The lap six restart saw Martin leading Peters, Nichols, Walsh and Kearney back to green. Kearney managed two more spots in the final nine laps, but it wasn't enough to overtake the strong lead pair.

B main three (started): 1. Wright (1) 2. Giannetto (2) / 3. Johnny Anderson 7a (8) 4. Welsh (9) 5. Lowery (4) 6. Vanderploeg (5) 7. Roseland (7) 8. Danley (15) 9. Styres (6) 10. M. Alexander (14) 11. Mahoney (12) 12. Naida (10) 13. Newberry (13) 14. Mulheim (3) 15. Rains (11) DNS - Brown

Wright led the distance despite two stoppages. Lap two saw Rains come to a stop and exit. Mulheim and Giannetto put on a good race for second with Mulheim taking the spot after the restart. The youngster dueled with the Bulldogg but lost a cylinder and retired, ending his bid for a transfer. Naida spun on lap nine bringing out the final caution. By this time J. Anderson was charging, but he couldn't find the speed to overtake Giannetto and move on. Welsh was also coming on late, a prelude to his A main run.

A main (started): 1. Langerud (3) 2. Crockett (2) 3. Maier (14) 4. Chappell (9) 5. Rilat (17) 6. Ball (13) 7. Rockhold (4) 8. Jobe (1) 9. Ideus (22) 10. Rager (16) 11. Welsh (26) 12. Geldart (8) 13. Glennon (15) 14. S. Alexander (18) 15. Brey (25) 16. Kulhanek (28) 17. Leiber (29) 18. Mather (5) 19. Trent (10) 20. Wright (20) 21. Daggett (24) 22. Hesmer (7) 23. Peters (23) 24. Beaver (6) 25. Martin (19) 26. Danley (30) 27. McClelland (27) 28. Giannetto (21) 29. Hinck (11) DQ - Stewart (12)

Series provisionals for the event were Brey, Welsh, McClelland, Kulhanek, Leiber and Danley. Mather and McClelland performed spins before the event would complete a lap. Both would restart. Crockett jumped out to a good lead when the green flew on the 30 lapper. Geldart's front bumper fell off, triggering a caution on lap five and sending the 16 year old to the rear of the field. On the restart, Crockett led Jobe, Langerud, Rockhold and Hesmer. By lap 14, Langerud and moved around Jobe and took the point from Crockett. Two laps later, Giannetto, who had surged to 13th from row 11, broke a wheel and came to a rest. Martin who was running just behind him was involved in the fray, but restarted. Now Langerud had Hesmer on his tail, followed by Crockett, Stewart and Beaver. Beaver had a rear end problem on lap 20 and ducked out. An ignition problem sidelined second place Hesmer on lap 25. Stewart moved around Langerud in traffic for the lead on lap 27, but the pass was negated when Daggett, who had moved up to 15th from the 12th row came to a stop in turn three. The three lap dash restart now saw Langerud leading Stewart, Crockett, a surging Wright and Maier. Langerud was able to ride the high side with a clear track ahead to take the win. Wright bowed out on lap 28 while running fourth. Stewart proved to be light at the scales and was DQed giving second to Crockett and third to Maier. Welsh proved to be the hard-charger moving up 15 spots.
