Tracy Hines (7th car out to time) set a new one-lap track record at 18.565 seconds. Bud Kaeding (9th car out) was second quick, followed by Daron Clayton (10th), Casey Shuman (6th), Mike Hess (3rd), Bill Rose (17th), Keith Bloom Jr. (2nd), Brady Bacon (23rd), Jon Stanbrough (11th) and Scotty Weir (8th). Chris Morgan failed to get a time in, and Henry Clarke suffered apparent rear-end problems and coasted across with a slow time.

Heat one (started): 1. Bryan Clauson 2B (3) 2. Kyle Larson 2 (1) 3. Hines 4 (6) 4. Damion Gardner 71 (2) / 5. Hess 51 (5) 6. Stanbrough 53 (4) 7. Mike Moore 69x (7) 8. Domain Ramsay 20AU (8) DNS - Chris Morgan F1

8-lap heats saw the top four transfer to the A. Larson led most of the way valiantly riding the cushion. Clauson was patient on the bottom and cruised past coming for the white flag to take the win. Stanbrough was in a battle with Gardner for fourth when he caught the turn four infield berm, bobbled, and lost a couple of spots.

Heat two (started): 1. Kaeding 29 (6) 2. Shane Hmiel 17s (1) 3. Weir 12B (4) 4. Ricky Williams 11w (3) / 5. Justin Grant 5 (2) 6. Kyle Cummins 21x (7) 7. Rose 6 (5) 8. Steve Thomas 20T (8)

The most entertaining heat of the night featured three and once 4-wide racing. Hmiel took the early lead, but Kaeding was blasting the cushion into third, riding the rim in a four-way battle for the spot with Grant, Weir and Williams. He would eventually win the spot and gain on the leader Hmiel. Coming for the white flag, he would blast into the lead and take the win.

Heat three (started): 1. Robert Ballou 81 (1) 2. Chris Windom 11 (2) 3. Clayton 92 (6) 4. Levi Jones 20 (4) / 5. Bloom Jr. 27 (5) 6. Dave Darland 39 (3) 7. Robby Wolfgang 7K (7) 8. Josh Higday 2x (8)

Windom shot out to an early lead with Ballou in pursuit. On lap three, Ballou would find his way under for the lead. After the lap was completed, Higday spun in turn four, bringing caution. Ballou now led Bloom Jr., Windom, Jones, Darland and Clayton. Clayton found new life after the restart, and bucked the cushion in his typical fashion. He circuled Darland, Bloom and Jones to ride home in third.

Heat four (started): 1. Bacon 99 (5) 2. Casey Riggs 37 (4) 3. Chris Urish 77u (1) 4. Shuman 4G (6) / 5. Henry Clarke 67 (7) 6. Russ Harper 9 (2) 7. Jerry Coons Jr. 69 (3) DNS - Johnny Herrera 45x

Urish led lap one, before Riggs took over. Coons came to a stop on the backstretch with two in the books. He would exit after restarting. Bacon, who restarted third, soon made his presence felt in a challenge for the lead. A three-way battle commenced between Urish, Clarke and Shuman for the two last trasnfer spots. Clarke appeared to be in control of third with two laps to go, after starting on the tail, but Shuman would relegate him to fifth in the last corner. Bacon would also make a last lap cushion pass to take the win.

B main (started): 1. Hess (1) 2. Darland (5) 3. Stanbrough (4) 4. Cummins (10) 5. Bloom Jr. (3) 6. Coons Jr. (6) / 7. Rose (2) 8. Wolfgang (11) 9. Grant (7) 10. Harper (8) 11. Moore (9) 12. Higday (14) 13. Thomas (13) 14. Ramsay (12) 15. Morgan (16) 16. Clarke (15)

Hess led the non-stop 10-lapper throughout. Darland and Stanbrough moved up nicely on the low side. Cummins was the car on the move, grabbing a transfer relatively late, and continuing his charge on the cushion up to fourth.

A main (started): 1. Kaeding (5) 2. Bacon (2) 3. Clayton (4) 4. Weir (1) 5. Gardner (11) 6. Clauson (9) 7. Ballou (15) 8. Windom (12) 9. Shuman (3) 10. Darland (18) 11. Jones (7) 12. Hess (17) 13. Riggs (8) 14. Coons Jr. (22) 15. Stanbrough (19) 16. Hines (6) 17. Larson (13) 18. Cummins (20) 19. Urish (16) 20. Hmiel (14) 21. Bloom Jr. (21) 22. Williams (10) 23. Clarke (23, pr.)

Hmiel shot out to an early lead in the 26-lapper. Bacon was strong and worked by for the point on lap two. Bacon rode the cushion, but tried the low side in three and four on lap five. It was a mistake, and Kaeding jumped all over it, cruising around to take the lead. The cushion proved to be the fast way around. Jones worked patiently on the bottom, however, the first half of the race and passed Clayton for fourth, while Weir ran third in front of him. Jones would eventually take third in a good battle. Clayton shot around Weir for fourth, as Jones moved up to third. Kaeding struggled a bit to lap Cummins, but otherwise, performed well in traffic in the non-stop event. Bacon pulled close a couple of times, but it was not enough to prevent Bud's first career Knoxville 410 win. Jones top four finish turned sour with a flat right rear on the last lap. Darland was the hard-charger, moving forward eight positions.

R. Phillips shot out to a lead in the 12-lapper. With four in the books, Breazeale went up in smoke and came to rest to bring out a caution. R. Phillips led Cram, Alexander, Ball and Mar. Stephenson back to green. Three laps later, disaster struck for Alexander who ran third and spun in turn three, collecting 4th place Ball. Both tipped over, but were unhurt. R. Phillips continued to dominate the last five laps to win his second 305 feature at Knoxville. Kinder moved up 12 spots for hard-charger honors
